K4511 USB Modem constantly disconnecting

Hello,

 

I've had a mobile broadband contract with Vodafone for over 12 months, specifically the K4511 USB modem plugged into the Vodafone Sharing Dock.

 

Over the 12 months, I've often experienced regular disconnections - regardless of whether the modem is plugged into the sharing dock or into the computer itself.  However, this has become so bad over the last few weeks that the service is virtually unusable.  Reconnecting to the internet usually only lasts for a couple of minutes at the most before the service is disconnected.

 

I have tried updating the sharing dock with the latest firmware and tried various settings, but this hasn't solved the issue.

 

I live in postcode 6008 - where reception is generally very strong.  Furthermore, my wife and I both have iPhones with Vodafone and using data over the phones is never problematic.

 

I upgraded to Vodafone from a mobile broadband contract with 3.  We never had any problems with disconnection whilst using 3.

 

Please advise on a solution as soon as possible.
