Hello there!
I've been using Vodafone for my phone for the last few years so I thought I would try their mobile broadband byo 8GB month to month plan as my friend already had a wireless mobile broadband modem I could use. It works fine.
Later in the month my phone contract had run out so I call up and sign up again for a 24 month contract, I receive the new phone and log into my account and I've receieved a bill for over $800 for my wireless mobile broadband. I call up the help line and discuss how I was never given a single sms or email regarding going over my limit, the help desk operator keeps insisting they had sent 4 warnings over the course of the month but I know for a fact that every issue or bill warning I have gotten for my phone has gone to my email address and phone.
I understand that it is my fault for going over the limit but I was checking my vodafone account regularily for which my phone and mobile broadband sim were on and was never alerted. The operator told me the service was disabled but not before charging me hundreds of times over the limit.
If there is anything that could possibly be done for me seeing as I'm a long time customer and would never intentionally go over my limit that would be great. Thank you.
