Phone has not arrived after a month!

Hi there, 

 

My contract had almost expired and I called vodafone on the 24th of February to request to receive a new phone and extend my contract for another 24 months. I was told that the phone would arrive in 2-3 days. 

 

It has been almost a month later, and I have called vodafone numerous times explaining the same scenario over and over again, and hearing the same answers given to me over and over again. I have spent more than an hour on the phone with vodafone customer support. I have no qualms with off-shoring the call centre overseas, but all the staff were just going through their normal processes and could not help me. On my last call to  customer "care" I was told that I would be called to check if the phone arrived. This never happened. And I am sick of calling vodafone and waiting on the line to hear the same things again. 

 

It seems to me that vodafone were perfectly happy for me to extend the contract for another 24 months and after that, couldn't be bothered to ensure that I received the new phone that I should be receiving on the contract. If the phone doesn't arrive, I don't see why I am under obligation to make payment under the new contract. 

 

Would appreciate a call back. But if that is too hard for vodafone to do and to ensure that I get my new phone, I will have to move to another provider.
