I am writing this as a last resort as i can get absolutely no satisfaction from Vodafones call centre employees. I am on a contract with Vodafone, i am using a pocket wifi pro for mobile broadband, and what i am finding is whilst i am paying for a broadband service, i am barely receiving a service akin to dial up, the speeds are atrocious. I have gone through every avenue, i have checked the coverage area, i have spoken to multiple people and so called support teams on the phone, and with always the same result.
They tell me that the service is fine, that the coverage is excellent in my area and that there is no network issues to be had. All i can say to this is then WHY during peak hour times does speed drop so rapidly that sometimes a page will not even load let alone load slowly. I can tell you my speed will hover around 50 - 60 kb/s, which i am sure you will agree is not what i am paying for.
I am at my last little bit of patience with this issue now having gone on for three weeks and i feel i will have no alternative but to cancel my long association with Vodafone if things are not fixed very soon.
The worst part about this rubbish is the people in the Vodafone call centre offered to fix my problem by offering me a new pocket wifi with 4G capabilities but then proceeded to tell me that i would have to pay extra for the priviledge ! I am already paying for a broadband service that i am not receiving, and they have the hide to ask me to pay more to fix the problem.
My appologies for the long winded post, however i am at my wits end and any help will be greatly appreciated, otherwise i am afraid i will have no option other than to cancel with Vodafone.
