Pocket wifi 2 Huawei E585 constant drop outs. Many resets every day.
Have gone through the procedures on FAQs 1 & 2, posting FAQ 3 info here:
Part A:
Postcode: 3044
Suburb: Pascoe Vale South
Service difficulties (Call drops, Unable to send SMS, slow data speeds, No signal ETC): Pocket wifi 2 (Huawei E585)
cuts out - still powered but no service, no panel information visible.
Time of day (AM/PM, times , be specific): Happens all times, all days of the week, every day.
How long has it been occurring: 3 months.
Any other Vodafone users identified the same issues?: Lots of similar problems in Vodaphone posts
Part B:
Mobile Device in use: Pocket wifi 2 Huawei E585
Device used for isolation test: Have used another Huawei E585 with same SIM - same pattern of dropping service.
How long have you had the device? : 2 years
Any other comments: After boot / reboot of device, can get 30 mins to an hour of signal, then drop out. Device often needs to have battery removed to turn off.
Please indicate next steps.
