PrePaid SIM not working in BlackBerry Handset

Hi Support,

I have an active prepaid SIM but it does not work in my BlackBerry Bold 9900.  The error message reads "Initialisation Failed" so only emergency calls can be made.  SIM works in other handsets.  Is there a fix?
