Website Not Displaying
I have been using a Pocket WiFi 207 for over a month with no problems accessing websites. A few days ago I tried to access the UK bank Lloyds - www.lloydsbank.co.uk and for the last 3 days it has been saying website is not available. I tried on my laptop and desktop both running Windows 10 and used IE11, Microsoft Edge, Firefox and Chrome browsers and they all say website is not available. I also tried on my Android Smartphone with the same message. I have cleared browser history and cache and all setting are default.
When I try http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com it say website is available.
When I go to the local library and use their WiFi the website loads immediately on both laptop and Smartphone. The problem seems to be with Vodafone, can someone check this out - Thank you.

Excess data usage for Mobile Broadband - it is just rediculous
Hi All,
I was on $20 4GB month to month Pocket Wifi user and yhis is always enough until August 2015, there is a spike in the data usage with no apparent reason (in execss of 4 GB in a day) and I ended up having to pay $85.57 (after $45.00 refundf if I agreed to increase to MtM $30 plan for 8GB) after I lodged a complaint. What they told me is that their reading is correct and they cannot control or check on how I use the internet and put the blame on Microsoft pushing out Windows 10 that caused the spike in data usage. Are ther anyone out there has similar experience or is it just bad luck that I was selected to be one of the victims!!!! They suggested I should turn of the windows update that was never on in the first place.
In September 2015 with new cycel staring on 21st for 8GB, I received a surprise email saying that I have used up more than 85% of my allocated data. Immedaitely I signin to My Vodafone to check that data usage only to find out that there was another spike in data usage on the 24th to 5 GB(impossible for my noraml usage as I expalined to them to check the history of data usage varies from less than 100MB to 500MB per day,) and spilled over to 1.82 GB on the 25th. What happened on the 24th was that I have so much problem trying to connect to the internet and I keep trying because I need to access the internet to carry out research in order to complete my assignment.. Immedaitely I called Vodafone to asked them to investigate but they insisted that there is nothing wrong with their reading that they can't do anything, I insisted that they investigate and report back to me. They promised to call me back not before 8:00 PM. They called me back around 1:10PM and asked me if I to cancel the service, I told her that I still need the use of internet but I need someone to investigate on the unusually high data usage that I was no happy because I used the internet normaaly and the most I can use wil not exceed 300MB, I refer her to the history, However, she said it is not her area of responsibility and she need to transfer to someone else and then someone else until I am at a total lost. I told the last person I need to go to work and please call me back at night at 9:30PM. Someone called and told me that the account can do the investigation and they work till 10:00PM, so I requested to be called around 9:00PM on Saturday 26th so that he can transfer me to the right department to investigate the data issue,
He called at 9:29PM on Saturday and told me that he is going to transfer me to the account department so he did, after holdiing on 9 minutes the line was cut hence I am posting this message to seek if anyone sahre similar experience. I thnink Vodafone is trying to raise revenue through excess data usage!!
Before July 2015, I only havce 4GB and was always enough for my normal usage and I have not change how I used the internet, occassionally I will have a few downloads that would blew over the 4 GB limit but the most is 500 or 600 MB over that I have to pay the extra on the excess at higher rate but I do not mind as I knew the reason,
BTW, I am using this Pocket WIFI from Horsham, Victoria where I always experience slow internet.
Pocket Wifi limited service
My pocket Wifi 2 (I think?) is not new but last night & today it keeps going to limited service. If I disconnect & reconnect it works again for awhile, then same thing happens. This is on my laptop, my phone seems to stay connected. I'm on Windows 8.1
Can I request to unlocked my vodafone pocket wifi R208
Hi,
I sign up with Vodafone 12GB pocket wifi plan since 2013 and am still using it, its a month to month plan. May I request to unlocked my pocket wifi for free so that I could use it when I travel overseas ?
On the other hand, I read somewhere that pocket wifi purchase after Aug 2013 is unlocked. Does the latest promotion of Pocket wifi 4G ( 4+4GB ) , 2 years post paid contract come with unlocked 4G pocket wifi ?
Thank you

This Guy Was Great! - Bryan Roper Demos Lumia 950/950XL at MS Live Event
If you missed it, here is a replay of Bryan Roper's demo of the Lumia 950/950XL devices and why this will be your next business phone--and consumer phone too.
https://youtu.be/Uzp4TMVBrv4?t=9m51s
Here's what one tech journalist wrote:
"And then there's Bryan Roper. I want this guy to give every presentation I ever have to watch again. His passion and excitement was evident from the very start of his demonstration of the new Lumia 950 phones. Not just that, he walked us through exactly what we were looking at when it came time to demonstrate Continuum, constantly and helpfully making callbacks to how things work with Windows 10 and how similar they are with a Windows 10 Mobile phone outputting to a keyboard and monitor over a single cable into a dock.
"Not just that, Roper's excitement was contagious. His passion was infectious. His humor was spot on. It's rare that I have fun and find myself enjoying something as dry as "you plug your phone into this box and it outputs as a desktop onto this screen and you can use a keyboard and mouse with it." That should be the dullest presentation ever, yet I was loving every moment of it. I mean, what press event in recent memory have you ever hear the phrase " 'Cause I can be productive like a boss wherever I am now."?" --Derek Kressler at Windows Central (Today's Microsoft Event was one of the best I've ever seen. )
Enjoy!

mobile broadband bill question
hello,
i have a question for a moderator...i tried calling customer service but i ended the call after waiting 15 mins so i thought try here.i have been cautious not too exceed my data quota and i checked my recent mobile broadband bill and have been charged $10 extra for exceeding. i used around 20mb extra as i tried to just reach my data quota. i'm not happy about being charged the extra $10 as i could not see a option in my account settings prior to stop this from happening...i would prefer to have the 20mb taken from my next month data quota.
regards
jason
